Hungarospa Hajdúszoboszló is the largest spa complex of Europe laying on a 30-hectare territory, which has several bath units and own accommodations.

Medicinal Bath of Hajdúszoboszló

Hajdúszoboszló is known as the „Mecca of the Rheumatics” as the world-famous medicinal water of Hajdúszoboszló which contains iodine, bromine and sodium chloride as well as the healing of experience of decades ensure the relief of pain of patients.

The Medicinal Bath is open all year round. Apart from the 3 pools with medicinal water in the hall, guests can use 4 outdoor pools with adventure elements. Based on our monitored and certified medicinal water, guests can have more than 40 treatments under medical supervision. Spa treatments which are financed by the national health insurance system can be purchased on a special price.

The healing effect of the spa treatments which are available in the medicinal bath is proved in case of the following diseases:

• Chronic arthritis (polyarthritis chr.)

• Different chronic inflamed, degenerative diseases of the spinal column (spondylosis, M.Bechterew, chondrosis)

Aqua-Palace covered adventure bath

Aqua-Palace is open for all members of the family from the least to the greatest all year round with a unique atmosphere, and extremely wide range of services, on a territory of 15 000 m². The aqua palace has direct connection with the medicinal bath of Hajdúszoboszló, the open-air bath and the Aquapark.

The exclusive adventure pools of the water world evoke different ages and places: tropical bath, ice cave bath, cinema bath, „Pávai” thermal bath, Ganges bath, Roman bath, marine bath, cave bath. Children’s world provides unique supply for families having small children. There are amazing animal figures and slides in the baby and family pools. The all-day entertainment of the Smallest is ensured by an animation room and a playhouse. The comfort of our guests is guaranteed by changing, nursing and children’s break rooms.

The lovers of saunas can find a sauna world here. Sports fans can use the swimming pool, standing surf, squash and many other fitness services. The water palace offers a wide range of wellness services as well: massages, solarium, private baths, relax room etc.

Open-Air Bath

The 30-hectare open-air bath which is situated in a beautiful park, is open from the 1st of May until the 30th September. All of the 13 pools are very popular, all generations can find their favourite ones among the various adventure-, swimming-, wave pools, whirlpools and children’s pools. Children like gameplay elements set up in the children’s pools such as hippopotamuses, seals and turtles.

Bathers can use various adventure elements in the „Omega” pool such as water sports courts, lazy river zone, jacuzzi. Animations and handicraft sessions amuse the Smallest on the „Water Spider” tale stage, next to the paddling pool.

The blockbuster of the open-air bath is the Mediterranean seashore which is framed by palm trees. Pirate ship and lighthouse provide unique view on the sandy shore of the giant pool having crystal clear and waving water. Several catering facilities and restaurants offer regional dishes and European culinary specialities.

In the summer of 2021, an exclusive outdoor wellness department will open on the territory of the open-air bath, which meets quality needs. 4 pools are being built in this Premium Zone: Plitvice pools with waterfall, Tahiti pools with an aqua-bar, Amazonas pool with jacuzzi gallery and a children’s pool. The total surface of these pools exceeds 2500 m².

Aquapark

The first slides paradise of Hungary can be found in the open-air bath. The Aquapark was built in 2000, which was enlarged with an extreme zone in 2014. The lovers of splashing can choose from 15 different giant slides in the Aquapark. Apart from the popular adventure slides (four-track multi-slide, kamikaze, hydro slide, black hole, lazy river, giant slide, big hole, twister, Niagara) 6 exciting extreme slides can be tested (free fall tunnel, water loop, super wave, tsunami, space boat, water pipe). The extreme slides start from a 20-metres high podium. The bravest can try rock climbing as well. There are mini slides and adventure pools for the ages of 6-12. We offer lazy river for those who like stiller water fun instead. Additional entry fee must be paid for those guests of the open-air bath who would like to enjoy the Aquapark.

Árpád Swimming Pool

The covered swimming pool which is open all year round can be found near the Thermal Clamping. Árpád Swimming Pool meets international standards, so it is appropriate for being a venue of competitions. The water temperature of the 50 meters long, 8-track mirror pool is 25-27 °C. A separate pool was built near the swimming pool which make possible for children to learn swimming. It is also a good possibility for families having little children to enjoy bathing. The complete relaxation of guests is ensured by the covered and open-air resting pools with medicinal water, sauna, and standing solarium. Those guests who would like to do some exercises, can use the gym of the swimming pool as well.  

Hungarospa Thermal Hotel***

HUNGAROSPA Thermal Hotel*** is situated in a still environment, and has direct connection with the spa complex. The guests of the hotel can use the medicinal bath, the open-air bath, the swimming pool and the Aqua-Palace Experience Bath as well. The hotel has 105 air-conditioned double rooms, 3 apartments, 6 three-bed rooms and 3 rooms specially designed for disabled guests. The rooms are equipped with telephone, minibar, colour TV and safe. Most of them also has balcony or loggia.

Guests can receive treatments financed by the national health insurance system in the own therapy centre of the hotel. They can use 3 covered and 3 open-air pools with medicinal water, saunas, solarium, salt chamber, and tennis courts as well.

Thermal Camping

The camping which is open all year round offers about 300 caravan pitches with electricity and water connection, pitches for tents and appropriate service facilities.

The guests of the camping can choose totally equipped mobile homes too. Mobile homes have 2 cubicles, a living room (with a corner sofa which can serve as a berth for one person), 2 bathrooms with shower and toilette, dining room and kitchen. We offer mobile homes for 5 persons. Mobile homes are equipped with air-condition, TV. The kitchen is equipped with electric hotplate, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, dinner service and cooking pots. There is a covered terrace with garden furniture in front of the houses.

It makes the camping more attractive that there is a direct connection to the open-air bath and to the swimming pool. There is a food storage in the camping, while guests can find a restaurant in the swimming pool in the neighbourhood.

Hajdú Camping

Hajdú Camping is situated in the holiday resort area of the city, 800 metres from the bath, in a still, woody environment. It offers accommodation in holiday homes with 3 rooms for 6 persons, wooden houses with shower and toilette for 4 persons, and in the rooms of the Camping Motel with shower and toilette for 2-3 persons. There are also pitches for tents and caravans with service facilities such as shower, toilette, kitchen and lounge.

Vajna Pávai mineral water

The product of the mineral water bottler of Hungarospa Hajúszoboszló Llc. is the Vajna Pávai mineral water, which was name after the man who revealed it. The water of the well nr. IX. is rich in minerals and it is suggested to consume. According to the certification of the director of the National Dietetic Institute, Dr, János Rigó: „The carbonated mineral water which has a low salt content and hydrogen carbonate is beneficial in the form of drinking cure primarily in case of gastrointestinal diseases such as acid reflux, catarrh and ulcerative syndrome, as it reduces and neutralizes acid production.

The mineral water also contains boron and fluoride, which is beneficial in case of osteoporosis. Thanks to its iodine content, it is effective in overcoming and prevention of iodine deficiency.
